The Çamlıca Tower has been a popular destination for tourists since it opened in 2021. The country’s minister of transportation and infrastructure said that 788,241 people visited the tower on its 1st anniversary while another 455K took an estimated tour between January 1-August 20th this year alone! With President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attending their grand opening ceremony along with other important figures like Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who founded modern Turkey, you can see why many Turkish citizens would want to visit such sites personally rather than just watch TV coverage from afar.
Built on a hilltop at an altitude of 587 meters, the broadcasting tower is called "the highest in Europe" and now broadcasts 100 radio programs without mixing frequencies.
The 369-meter tall (1 210 ft.), answering to Turkish authorities as being replacing 33 giant antennae from before; it serves only one site: To allow all kinds of media content creators to be able to mix their broadcasts right here - making this place truly unique among others around the world!

In addition to serving as a functional broadcasting facility for TV and radio, the Çamlıca Tower also features a cafe, a two-story restaurant, gift shops, exhibition spaces, a library, and a couple of observation decks that allow guests to take in the city's Asian and European sides from heights of 148 and 153 metres, respectively, over the course of 13 floors. The tower has 53 floors, including four below ground, and was built in such a way as to present a distinctive appearance when viewed from various areas in the city.
