Aquariums in Istanbul, sometimes called underwater zoos, provide a pleasant and instructive day for both children and adults. If you're planning a trip to Istanbul and want to explore what the city has to offer, we've produced a list of four aquariums in Istanbul that will amaze everyone.
01. Istanbul Sea Life Aquarium
Locals sometimes refer to this aquarium as TurkuaZoo. It was Turkey's first public aquarium and is one of Europe's largest. It is with no doubt Turkey's largest aquarium, especially when the Sea Life firm has 48 different aquariums throughout the world, so you know that Istanbul aquarium has the same attention to detail as the ones in Arizona or London. In contrast to Arizona, the Istanbul Aquarium includes a glass-bottom boat where you can observe the sea life in its natural habitat. The Sea Life Aquarium is housed in the Forum Istanbul shopping mall. If you're going on a family vacation, the shopaholics may pick out a new wardrobe. At the same time, children might be delighted by Europe's largest aquarium tunnel or the continent's most extensive shark collection. In the Rock Pool Experience, children may touch a starfish and other sea animals, much as they do in Sea Life Aquariums across the world. Because the signs are in English, they can learn about the creatures in the aquariums.

Istanbul Aquarium is proud of its interactive new generation technology, which, when compared to other Turkish aquariums, truly brings the sea to life. It's a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Each tank contains architectural features that highlight the cultural, geographical, and historical qualities of the area. The six theme categories are organized around the many kinds of fish that live in seas and oceans. Species from the Black Sea, Pacific Ocean, Red Sea, and even the Amazon jungle are available to visitors. A well-planned travel path allows you to discover the world.

03. Emaar Aquarium
Istanbul's Asian side. It's a little aquarium within a commercial centre. However, don't let that dissuade you because there are virtual reality games accessible throughout the mall. This aquarium also allows youngsters to experience the undersea world in the "Dreamers Island" part, a computerized interactive play area.
You may witness the mermaid show or scuba dive with the devil rays. You may not get to hang out with guitar-nosed sharks. At Penguin Island in Antarctica, you may still go around the many thematic zones to encounter lovely penguins. There's a Crocodile Kingdom, Rocky Shores, different rivers and falls, a fascinating Jellyfish Gallery, and even a reproduction of the Amazon Rainforest.
Despite being one of Istanbul's smaller aquariums, it houses 20,000 different types of marine creatures and over 200 species of amphibians.

04. Viasea Aquarium
The Viasea Aquarium is located on the Asian side of Istanbul and is a bit out of the way from the city's popular highlights, but it is well worth the visit. The aquarium is housed within a funfair that also has a lion park. Consider this a family outing where you can view snakes, spiders, lions, and play on merry-go-rounds. There's plenty here to keep kids occupied for hours.
The aquarium is entered through the mouth of a crocodile, which makes sense given the crocodile park within. There are also beautiful tropical birds and century-old tortoises in the Bird Paradise. Some of these species can be fed by hand. You might be able to observe the piranas, otters, and scallops being fed about midday.
The climate-themed aquarium houses around 12,000 aquatic animals in 24 different themes. Exotic Koi fish, stingrays, and predatory sharks are among them.
