To extend your stay in Turkey, you need to visit the website https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr to find out which extension is applicable for you. The required documents for the extension are an existing valid tourist or residence visa/permit, your passport valid for the duration of the permit applied for plus 60 days beyond that duration, with colour photocopies of the last page of the entry visa and the main page of the passport.

In Turkey, all applicants for a residence permit must have valid health insurance. This insurance must cover the applicant for the duration of the residence permit applied for and must be taken out by a Turkish company.
